Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Chester, NJ is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for per diem night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This PRN role offers hands-on patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, including vital signs, daily activities, meals, and mobility support.

Minimum requirements include a valid BLS or completion within 90 days, with preference for a high school diploma and CNA/hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Deliver meals, assist feeding, and document intake including supplements.
• Turn and position immobile patients and assist mobility programs.
• Respond to patient call lights and perform tasks supporting wellbeing.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and designated areas.
