Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to join the 4S (IMC/PCU) team. This full-time night shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible nurses.

Inova is recognized for safety, quality, and patient experience. The 4S unit provides care for progressive/intermediate cardiac and neurological patients, with strong teamwork and time management requirements.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program; if ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care.
• Virginia RN license or eNLC eligibility; BLS certification required on start.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting data.
• Formulate individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care.
• Advocate for patients' rights and counsel as a resource.
• Coordinate care across disciplines for transitions.
• Document all patient care activities according to standards.
• Evaluate processes to improve outcomes and adjust plans.
• Support clinical decision making within the team.
