Job summary

Magnolia Creek Treatment Center for Eating Disorders in Columbiana, AL, seeks a Night Shift Recovery Care Specialist to support clients with co-occurring disorders. You will participate in meals, provide emotional support, document progress, and work with the clinical team to ensure safety and recovery progress.

Candidates with 1+ years of related experience and a preferred Bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply; driving may be needed for some activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1+ years related experience in a care setting.
• Experience with eating disorders strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily milieu and ensures privacy and confidentiality.
• Provides emotional support and one-on-one time with clients.
• Communicates client progress to the Clinical Director and treatment team.
• Maintains timely documentation of client progress and concerns.
• Shares meals with clients to model healthy food and body image behaviors.
• Observes client behavior during and after meals and assists with nutrition activities.
• Ensures food safety in meal preparation/serving and assists with housekeeping.
• Supports tours for clients, families, and guests; participates in educational opportunities.
