Job summary

Aster Springs is seeking Recovery Care Specialists (RCS) for a 3rd shift position to support clients in a behavioral health setting. You will collaborate with a clinical team to implement interventions, actively engage clients in daily milieu activities, and promote ADLs, meals, and hygiene with structured supervision.

The role emphasizes maintaining a therapeutic environment and applying DBT-informed strategies to manage mood changes and crises.

Qualifications

• Position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, preferably with clients with eating disorders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clinical team to determine interventions for individual clients.
• Engages clients in milieu and activities throughout the workday, often in group settings.
• Encourages clients to perform ADLs, including room cleaning, hygiene and laundry.
• Prompts clients to attend meals timely and provides supervision at mealtimes.
• Models appropriate table manners and social interactions during meals.
• Documents services, incident reports, shift reports and group notes in a timely and accurate manner.
