Job summary

Montclair Hospital Medical Center in Montclair, CA is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join its dedicated team. You will provide respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of patient care, including potential Lead RCP duties during shifts.

Required credentials include an active CA RCP license, NBRC RRT (or within 3 months), BLS, ACLS, and PALS (within 60 days or current).

Qualifications

• Active State RCP license required.
• NBRC RRT certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certified by hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification by hire and maintained.
• PALS certification by hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program preferred.
• Associate or BS degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care with attention to age-specific needs.
• May be identified as Lead RCP and oversee section/department during shifts.
