Job summary

Atrium Health Union is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams under radiologist supervision. You will help coordinate daily activities, document patient history, identify patients, and assist with contrast media as needed.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour workweek, a sign-on bonus eligibility, and requires ARRT-recognized education with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
