Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Radiology is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under radiologist supervision. You will document patient history, verify identity, and prepare contrast media.

Requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program, registry eligibility within 1 year, and BLS. Must handle physical requirements and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; BLS required.
• Ability to use radiographic equipment; strong communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to procedure on requisition.
• Verifies patient identity via verbal confirmation and ID checks.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and physicians as needed.
• Operates equipment and positions patient accurately per procedure.
