Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is seeking a Registered Radiology Technologist for night shifts. The role involves performing general radiology, fluoroscopy, and portable exams, while producing high-quality images for radiologists’ review.

The candidate should be ARRT-registered, hold a state radiology license, and maintain BLS certification. The position emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and teamwork in a world-class hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.
• Able to communicate with Radiologists and physicians for proper imaging.
• Strong communication skills are essential for patient and family care.
• Can function with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and notify management/PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures and monitor patient priority; process billing.
