Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• CPR certification.
• Current State licensure from TDH.
• Maintains continuing education and collaborative training in radiology.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce X-ray images for diagnosis as directed by Radiologist.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization for optimum views.
• Set exposure factors (time, distance) aligned with protocols.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients and families.
• Communicate effectively with team and patients while maintaining professionalism.
