Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic X-rays as directed by radiologists.
• Position patients on the exam table and adjust immobilization devices for optimum views.
• Set exposure factors (time, distance) according to protocols and safety guidelines.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, and families; maintain professional conduct.
