Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Radiography Technologist for the Radiology department. The role involves night shift, 36 hours per week, on a Tue/Wed/Thu schedule from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with on-call rotation.

The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic imaging per physician orders with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate has completed a 24-month JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program, holds ARRT certification, and is current in BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved 24-month program in Radiologic Technology accredited by JRCERT.
• ARRT certification and Indiana licensure/registry preferred.
• Current BLS certification required or within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Evaluates requests for radiographic procedures and obtains patient history.
• Performs radiographic procedures per provider orders and documents results.
• Adheres to radiation safety policies and uses protection devices appropriately.
• Assists in instruction of radiography students and participates in QA/QI activities.
