Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment competently.
• Accurately evaluates requests and obtains patient history.
• Performs radiographic procedures per provider orders.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care and education.
• Explains procedures to patients and families clearly.
• Maintains radiation safety and exposure monitoring.
• Completes documentation accurately.
• Participates in QA and quality improvement activities.
• Assists in clinical instruction of radiography students.
