Job summary

Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA seeks an Associate Safety Officer to help protect hospital assets and people. You will conduct internal/external patrols, respond to routine and emergency calls, and document incidents per policy. The role supports a safe, secure and compassionate campus.

The position requires HS diploma, a valid driver's license, and IAHSS Basic certification within 1 year of hire. This is a full-time security role with day-one benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver's license.
• IAHSS Basic Healthcare Security Officer certification within 1 year of hire (or by 9/1/2025).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic public safety and security duties: patrol facilities and grounds, respond to calls, monitor alarms and safety.
• Provide escorts to patients, visitors, staff and others as needed.
• Identify hazards and vulnerabilities; report and coordinate remediation with other departments.
