Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in healthcare related field preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree healthcare related field preferred.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting, OR one year as psychiatric technician, OR one year as residential treatment/group home worker, OR nursing student with basic fundamentals of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment by monitoring patients and securing area.
• Record vital signs and perform phlebotomy tasks as directed.
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional status and notify nurses of changes.
• Transport patients and medications as needed to support patient care.
• Interviews and counsels patients regarding their rights and maintains rapport.
• Assist with daily patient care, cleanliness, and adherence to safety procedures.
