Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta area is seeking a Sleep Technologist to prepare adolescents, adults and geriatric patients for sleep disorders testing, apply sensors, acclimate patients to CPAP when needed, and monitor recordings through the night per protocol.

You will document findings, score polysomnograms, and assist in training and competency assessments while maintaining patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced sleep lab environment.

Qualifications

• One year sleep study experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• BRPT or RPSGT certification required.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Arrives to work in a timely manner and reviews the nights duties.
• Prepares patient charts, greets patients, and completes pre-test assessments.
• Applies recording sensors and calibrates equipment as needed.
• Monitors recordings and documents interventions per protocol.
• Scores polysomnograms and prepares reports for dictation.
• Assists in training, orientation and competency assessments.
