Job summary

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to lead an assigned department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while controlling costs.

You will assign and coordinate work, train staff, monitor performance in COS, and drive continuous improvement projects across the plant. This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership, problem solving and cross-functional collaboration to promote a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to lead people and achieve results.
• Experience in employee training and development.
• Experience measuring performance against goals.
• Ability to balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and relations.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate work, assist with employee selection, review performance, resolve employee issues and administer policies in assigned department.
• Manage departmental performance measures in COS with visual controls and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate and direct department activities to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality and safety, housekeeping and morale.
• Ensure all job-related accidents or injuries are reported and corrected promptly.
• Recommend equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, and process modifications.
• Inspect product to verify standards and specifications are met.
• Provide technical and behavioral coaching and development to employees.
• Track absenteeism and timekeeping in Kronos.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce material and labor costs.
