A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead frontline operations. The role entails overseeing production tasks, ensuring compliance with quality controls, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have an associate degree and over four years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $85,000, plus bonuses and benefits.
The Production Supervisor is accountable for leading frontline production operations to consistently deliver on organizational expectations in safety and quality. This leader is responsible for engaging and coaching team members, eliminating barriers to production success, and fostering a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssign and oversee daily tasks of Team Leads, Operators, and Production Assistants.
Lead start-up processes and equipment set-ups to ensure timely and accurate production launch.
Monitor machine efficiency, identify root causes of downtime, and partner with Maintenance for quick resolution.
Validate that operators adhere to product specifications, quality controls, and dimensional tolerances.
Audit and ensure compliance with production paperwork, safety checks, and maintenance logs.
Administer performance management: timecards, attendance, coaching, and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement projects and report measurable results to leadership.
Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing supervision preferred.
Experience: 4+ years in a production or manufacturing leadership role required.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications: None required, though supervisory or safety training certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift; lift up to 50 lbs; perform physical tasks on the production floor.
Manufacturing setting; exposure to variable temperatures and industrial machinery.
Required use of PPE; adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,000 in our lowest market up to $85,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
