The Night Production Supervisor is responsible for directing shift personnel to operate the facility, ensuring the consistent manufacture of finished products that meet customer volume and quality requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Coordinate activities across process areas to meet scheduling and quality standards.
2. Work with operators to optimize raw materials and rework utilization.
3. Monitor physical characteristics hourly and evaluate products for specifications such as specs, grits, flavor, density, and moisture.
4. Implement safety and regulatory programs to ensure long-term safe operations.
5. Lead and supervise production personnel, establishing education and development programs including SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
6. Communicate performance metrics and KPIs daily to the team.
7. Maintain inventory accuracy and complete shift reports, coordinating with the Production Manager.
8. Oversee nightly production reporting.
9. Collaborate with Process and Production Managers to evaluate and improve production efficiency.
10. Contribute to weekly/monthly production scheduling and staffing.
11. Maintain plant sanitation and cleanliness.
12. Coordinate equipment repairs and preventative maintenance with Maintenance.
13. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies.
14. Assist with inventory balancing during period-end and year-end.

Position Requirements

1. At least 2 years of management experience, preferably in a dairy processing plant.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong organizational skills.
4. Proficiency in computer software applications.
5. Previous supervisory experience.
