Union Health in Terre Haute, IN, is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Therapist for PRN on-call nights (6P-6A) at Union Hospital Terre Haute. The role delivers full respiratory care across assessment, ventilation, and education with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes.

The position requires AMA Respiratory Technician training, Indiana Respiratory Practitioner certification, and current BLS. Candidates should be flexible for 24-hour shifts and prepared to obtain ACLS/PALS/NRP as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Respiratory Technician program AND successful completion of Registry examination.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have current Indiana Respiratory Practitioner's certification.
• Willing to obtain ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification.
• Flexible in schedule to meet the needs of the patient on a 24-hour basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide all phases of respiratory care and services to patients, including assessment, airway management, ventilation, and education.
• Use clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Act as a patient advocate, respect patient rights, and seek appropriate assistance to address ethical dilemmas.
• Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
