Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS within 3 months; NRP within 6 months.
• Minimum 18 months hospital-based clinical experience with respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings.
• Apply and evaluate prescribed respiratory therapies.
• Perform respiratory procedures per orders and protocols.
• Instruct patients on prescribed therapies and safety.
• Operate, clean, and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Share patient information with care team and participate in QA activities.
