Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician at the Mequon Sleep Center. The role involves night shifts (Sunday and Monday, 7pm–7am) with opportunities for experienced techs or those close to board eligibility. Requires BLS and a polysomnography credential (RPSGT, RST, or equivalent).

The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with benefits eligibility and a pay range of $30.70–$46.05 per hour. Training and advancement opportunities are offered within the sleep medicine program.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification required.
• Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or ABMS RST certification, or RRT-SDS credential.
• Two years of experience in polysomnographic technician role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects and applies monitoring electrodes and probes to patients.
• Prepares PAP mask fittings and explains the process to patients.
• Scores sleep/wake stages and generates reports from study data.
• Implements CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen therapy as needed.
• Operates and maintains polysomnographic equipment and ensures data quality.
