Job summary

Night shift, 32 hours weekly. Requires High School diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year phlebotomy experience; a valid driver’s license and good communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of experience in phlebotomy and/or specimen processing.
• Active driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• 70% Phlebotomy and/or specimen processing; adhere to safety and infection control policies.
• 15% Associated computer tasks (LIS, e-Source).
• 5% Training new employees and students.
• 5% Compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., PATIENT safety goals, OSHA, CMS).
• 5% Maintain competencies and complete required education.
