Qualifications

• Current MA-P certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible
• Hospital setting experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture and blood collection skills

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures professionally at various sites and explain the procedure to patients
• Ensure blood draws are collected in a timely manner and monitor workload/pending lists for specimen accountability
• Accurately label patient samples following hospital policy
