Job summary

JobRx, Inc. is looking for a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions and maintain a well-organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, state-required pharmacy technician licenses, and preferably experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Pull/pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose as needed.
• Maintain clean/organized workstation areas.

Skills

Knowledge of brand name/generic medications

Detail-focused with analytical problem-solving skills

Reliable

Able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications

Previous pharmacy experience preferred
