Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio seeks a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week temporary assignment. Schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 7 days on/7 days off, with the pharmacist on duty overnight as the sole pharmacist with CPhT support.

Responsibilities include dispensing, reviewing orders, ensuring therapeutic appropriateness, communicating drug information, and coordinating with the team to maintain safety and compliance. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
• Night shift pharmacy role experience preferred
• Ability to work as sole Pharmacist with CPhT support during night shifts

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, process, validate, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions accurately
• Monitor and manage patient medication therapy for therapeutic appropriateness
• Communicate drug information to patients, families, and health care providers
• Coordinate day-to-day pharmacy technician activities to meet patient and department needs
• Participate in drug therapy management during emergencies and ensure adequate medication supplies
