Job summary

Annashae Healthcare Staffing seeks a Staff Pharmacist for a 1099 contract at a hospital in Lancaster, Ohio. This seven-on/seven-off overnight position enables autonomy as the sole pharmacist, with Certified Pharmacy Technician support throughout the night.

The ideal candidate must hold a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy, Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing, and recent hospital experience, capable of independent overnight operations while collaborating with clinicians.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Current Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing or applicable compact eligibility.
• Recent hospital pharmacy experience.
• Ability to independently manage overnight operations.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, process, and accurately dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor patient medication therapy for therapeutic appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety.
• Provide pharmaceutical care and medication-related recommendations to healthcare providers.
• Communicate drug information to patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and oversee pharmacy technician activities during the shift.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
