Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to master cleaning processes in the operating rooms and related perioperative spaces. The role involves sterile handling, terminal cleaning, rapid room turnovers, and maintaining OR cleanliness according to safety protocols.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and a 20% shift differential for night hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) preferred.
• Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and coordinate work in a high stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Masters environmental cleaning processes for Perioperative areas.
• Performs sterilization duties in OR and prepares tables for procedures.
• Learns to perform terminal cleaning to ensure MOR spaces are free of infectious materials.
• Performs rapid room turnovers and prepares OR after turnover.
• Cleans and maintains other areas of OR on a scheduled basis.
• Ensures cleaning equipment is sterile, safe, and maintained.
