Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for full-time night shift (10pm–6:30am), Mon–Fri with rotating weekends after training. The role supports the operating room and outpatient practices by cleaning, inspecting and sterilizing instruments using state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• CRCST certification within first year of employment.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow department processes and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Processes specialty and general instruments.
• Resets instrument sets without error.
• Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
• Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
• Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing.
• Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.
