Job summary

Dartmouth Health, based in Lebanon, NH, is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Associate to support surgical workflows in the CSR. You will decontaminate, assemble, and prepare instruments, ensuring safe patient care and a strong foundational supply chain for the OR.

The role offers an evening shift with a 10% differential, a 20% night differential, and a 15% weekend differential, plus a $5,000 sign-on/retention bonus. This entry point provides growth pathways within Perioperative Services.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Able to prioritize and handle interruptions.
• Good communication skills desired.
• Basic computer skills required.
• The ability to be bonded at Hospital expense required.

Responsibilities

• Unloads Instrumentation and Cart washers, dry and put away items; reports malfunctions.
• Operates all washers.
• Restocks supplies, distributes materials, folds towels, wraps basins, clears Decontam window and elevator.
• Handles contaminated waste with proper care and handling techniques.
• Cleans and disinfects soiled equipment returning from OR.
• Performs decontamination procedures per specifications.
• Operates machinery per procedures and manufacturer guidance.
• Assists in disassembly of instrumentation following guidelines.
• Attends in-services and educational programs.
• Performs other duties as required.
