Job summary

St. Mary’s Physician Care in Missouri is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide general care to patients of all ages. This per-diem night position requires independence, compassion, and the ability to work within a Collaborative Practice Agreement.

You will perform tests, document histories, prescribe medications, and assist physicians with rounding and admissions on a 7pm–7am shift with an open ICU. Previous inpatient hospitalist experience is preferred, and malpractice tail coverage is

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• BLS on hire and maintain current
• One to two years of NP experience preferred
• Experience with electronic health records

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages as a sole NP when needed.
• Perform tests, record medical histories and prescribe medications.
• Assist physicians with rounding and admissions.
• Work within Collaborative Practice Agreement.
• Manage 18–20 patients per shift during 12-hour night shifts.
