Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.
• Minimum two years pediatric ICU or ED Peds experience or experience in ED that cares for pediatrics.
• RN license/NJ required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides considerate respectful care focused upon the patient's individual needs to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Administers medication as needed following hospital policies and manufacturer instructions.
• Documents results of patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, care plan, and evaluation in medical records.
• Engages in interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes and safety.
• Participates in unit conferences and quality improvement efforts.
• Supports operations by float between units as RN and provide 1:1 patient observation as needed.
