Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift (7pm-7:30am) in Des Moines. The role involves patient care on acute inpatient units, with weekend and holiday rotations and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Relocation assistance up to $10,000 is available for relocations over 50 miles. UnityPoint Health offers a comprehensive benefits package and a robust RN Residency program for new graduates and those returning to acute care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or IA Board of Nursing approved nursing program.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Minimum of twelve months acute RN experience.
• RN Residency program participation for new graduates or those with <12 months acute RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient and family needs and coordinates care with the health care team.
• Develops a plan of care using collaboration with patient/family and team.
• Completes documentation to maintain an accurate legal record of care.
• Delivers high-quality nursing care using the nursing process per unit policies and standards.
• Applies holistic approach considering biopsychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety factors for patients and families.
• Leads and delegates to other team members within scope of practice and maintains accountability.
