Job summary

CarePoint Response, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking a compassionate Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff and deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

You will monitor and record vital signs, assist with daily living activities, perform phlebotomy, collect specimens, and document care in Electronic Health Records while upholding HIPAA, safety protocols, and patient confidentiality. Shifts are 11:00PM-7:00AM, PRN.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited PCT or CNA program required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and transfers.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Document care and observations in EHR.
• Respond to patient call lights and needs promptly.
• Uphold safety, health, and facility protocols.
