Job summary

CarePoint Response, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct patient care in Baltimore, MD. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and document in the EHR, while supporting nurses and staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a PCT/CNA program, and current BLS/CPR certification. Prior 6 months to 2 years hospital or clinical experience is preferred, with HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a PCT or CNA program required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred) required.
• Minimum 6 months to 2 years in hospital/clinical patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, respiration).
• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and transfers.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Document care in EHR; respond to patient call lights and needs.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.
