Job summary

Allied Universal in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Documentation to safeguard client sites. This unarmed patrol role requires a valid driver’s license and emphasizes professional customer service, calm incident response, and strict adherence to site policies throughout your shift.

You will conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones, observe irregular activity, document incidents, and report findings to the appropriate contacts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including business areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
