Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in San Francisco, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients across utilities and other sectors, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while providing friendly customer service.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift and carry as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, access points, parking areas, equipment areas, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged barriers, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
