Job summary

Allied Universal in Sacramento, CA seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Driver to protect clients at a retail location, performing patrols, monitoring access, and delivering customer service. A valid driver’s license is required.

The role includes a night shift schedule (Wed-Sun, 12:00 AM–08:00 AM) with a competitive pay rate of $20.00 per hour and opportunities for growth and benefits through Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols in retail areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
