UMass Memorial Health in Leominster, MA is seeking a Patient Safety Observer for the night shift. The role supports patient safety and daily living activities as part of the care team in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, documenting activities, assisting with mobility and transfers as directed, and adhering to nursing directions. A High School diploma and CPR certification within 6 months are required or preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide continuous safety observation of patients and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Engage with patients as appropriate and assist with activities of daily living under nursing direction.
• Document care activities and report issues to the licensed staff in charge.
• Maintain patient dignity and advocate for patient wellbeing at all times.
