Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience as a patient care tech (or similar title) in a hospital.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required; ortho training as mandated by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Staff Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and specimen collection (non-invasive).
• Transport patients (unmonitored) and prepare patients for procedures.
• Record vital signs and assist with unit-specific procedures and tasks.
