Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with 7pm–7:30am shifts and every 3rd weekend/holiday track, located at 155 E.

Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126. The position involves assisting with patient care tasks under RN supervision to ensure patient comfort and safety in a higher acuity unit, adhering to established procedures.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association is required.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience.
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation or equivalent experience.
• Ability to receive and follow directions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Contribute to patient comfort, safety and well-being during shifts.
• Follow established procedures and unit guidelines to support patient care.
