Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit with a higher acuity patient population. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a night schedule from 7pm to 7:30am and every third weekend/holiday track.

The incumbent will perform patient care tasks under the supervision of an RN, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality care for patients in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association)
• Nursing assistant training completion or six months of patient care experience, or nursing clinical rotation
• Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by department
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and ability to follow directions
