Job summary

Endeavor Health's Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus in Elmhurst, IL is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the CV Unit Nights. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, 7pm–7:30am, with rotating weekends and 4-5 weekends every 6 weeks.

Candidates may float to inpatient units including PCCU. Under RN direction, the PCT performs patient care tasks to support comfort, safety and recovery, following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience.
• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and rotating shifts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and according to established procedures.
• Provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.
• Float to inpatient units including PCCU as needed.
• Maintain patient documentation and communicate needs clearly.
