Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast Bucks Campus in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the overnight shift (11p–7a). You will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance details, verify coverage, and manage referrals and authorizations.

You’ll also handle payments at checkout and assist with charity care referrals. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of healthcare customer service experience and a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare customer service experience.
• Preferred: Associate degree in healthcare or business admin.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and gather accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance coverage, referrals, and authorizations.
• Collect patient out-of-pocket liability at time of service.
• Answer phones and assist patients with outpatient visits.
• Identify uninsured patients for referral to Medical Assistance/Charity Care evaluation.
