Job summary

Mt. Olive Pickle Co., Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Capping Pasteurizer Controller to operate and monitor pasteurizer functions, ensuring products are pasteurized to company standards. The role requires attention to temperature control, water management, and timely recording of critical process data.

You will work on the pasteurizer, verify belt speeds, monitor instrumentation, and maintain cleanliness of tanks and equipment. Safety rules and quality standards are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Experience operating industrial pasteurization or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pasteurizer switch box and manage water and temperature controls per company specs.
• Open/adjust valves, belts, and monitor belt speed; clean holding tanks screens during shift.
• Record 45-minute temperature readings and HACCP/Quality limits; maintain accurate logs.
• Ensure safe operation, clean workspace, and adherence to safety policies.
• Assist in cleaning and setup tasks as directed by supervisor.
