Job summary

Transdev North America, Inc. in Englewood, CO is seeking a Night Shift Parts Clerk to perform clerical and inventory tasks in the maintenance department. You will check stock locations, issue parts to technicians, record data, and assist in fulfilling material needs.

The role supports a bus fleet maintenance operation and may order supplies as needed. The shift runs 5:00pm–1:30am with weekend work; deadline by 10/31/2026. Competitive hourly pay of $26.43, with full-time benefits and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to utilize standard computer programs.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Some knowledge of parts and tools needed to repair diesel equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, approximately from 5:00pm to 1:30am.
• Possess a forklift license or have the ability to obtain a forklift license within 90-day probationary period.
• ASE Part Certification preferred or the ability to obtain within the first twelve months of employment.
• Excellent phone communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability in working with standard office machines including, but not limited to, fax, copy machine, printers and label makers.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Gather required parts for technicians and ensure all parts are checked out correctly before dispensing.
• Perform daily cycle-counts of inventory and upload into the system.
• Organize and maintain a clean parts department.
• Inform Parts Manager of any special order or urgent parts that require ordering.
• Receive, label and put away all parts from vendors.
• Box and label core returns for pickup and notify Parts Manager.
• Perform hourly shop walks to locate parts left in the shop.
• Inspect the forklift daily.
• Break down boxes and dispose accordingly.
• Break down and cut up pallets and dispose accordingly.
• Clean shelving and ensure parts are in correct locations.
• Record shop fluid levels nightly and submit to Parts Manager.
• Analyze, charge and pallet bad batteries for shipment to manufacturer.
• Perform daily Fluid Level Inventory and submit to Parts Manager.
• Perform Tri-annual physical inventory and weekly cycle counts.
• Organize shelving by part group description.
• Empty trash bins in the Parts Department nightly.
• Sweep and clean Parts department area and surrounding area.
• Clean parts carts nightly.
• Create and assign new bins.
• Restock PM bins and shop supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
