Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Tucker, GA seeks a Paramedic for full-time night shifts in the Emergency Department. You will work under RN/Physician supervision, delivering age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and contributing to fast, safe patient management.

The role requires BLS; ACLS and PALS are required or to be obtained within the allotted timeframe. Prior Paramedic experience is preferred; GA Paramedic licensure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS required or obtained within timeframe.
• 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care under RN/Physician supervision.
• Perform EKGs, Foley catheters, Start IVs, IOs, and draw blood.
• Transport patients to other departments and monitor for arrhythmias.
• Collaborate with ED team to ensure safe patient care and patient advocacy.
