MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate paramedic to join the Emergency Department at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. You will assess patients, apply interventions, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

This full-time night-shift role offers rotating weekends/holidays, on-site work, base pay $19.15–$30.23 per hour plus $1.50 special pay and $2.00 night/weekend differentials, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Paramedic licensure (EMT-P or EMT-CP) required by Missouri DHSS.
• 1 year paramedic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition and medical needs and apply interventions within scope of practice as appropriate.
• Assess, intervene, and reassess patient pain and symptoms using appropriate tools.
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatment plans the appropriate individuals.
• Maintain care standards and follow hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and quality/performance improvement activities.
• Assist in transporting critical patients to units when needed.
• Report observations to physicians or nurses and document findings accurately.
