Qualifications

• Must hold Nebraska Paramedic license or National Registry eligible for Nebraska licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; ITLS or PHTLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment and reassessment.
• Prioritize emergent, urgent, and non-urgent needs.
• Initiate and maintain emergency interventions per protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments per scope.
• Advanced airway management and cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses and staff.
• Document patient status and treatment in EMR.
• Support ED and inpatient monitoring duties as assigned.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
