• Initiates assessment and reassessment based on patient needs and Johnson County Hospital policies.
• Identifies nursing priorities and sets care goals based on diagnosis and age-specific needs.
• Integrates standards of care into the plan of care.
• Executes therapeutic and/or supportive interventions as ordered by provider.
• Assists provider with procedures as needed.
• Provides education for patient and family to meet identified needs and readiness to learn.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the patient’s record.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Education

Nebraska RN licensure (or approved compact state)

Basic Life Support (CPR) certification

Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and TNCC preferred
