Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a PRN/Pool Registered Nurse to join the PACU team at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, FL. This role involves caring for patients using the nursing process, delegating tasks, and maintaining professional accountability on a night-shift schedule.

The position requires an RN license with BLS and ACLS, an associates diploma or degree in nursing, and 18 months of acute care experience. A nurse specialty certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS, RN license and ACLS certifications required.
• Nurse specialty certification preferred.
• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 18 months of RN acute care/specialty experience required.

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Direct contact with the child and primary responsibility for providing personal care assistance and supervision to a child.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
